Solid aluminum vise block slides into the magwell and locks in place.
The black finish model will in a fit true government spec 1911, like the Ruger SR1911. It fits
snug and was designed that way. If your magwell was not broached to mil spec you will need to lightly
file down where it rubs. If yours is not mil spec the bare version has been made smaller than this one.
